dual citizenship problem

Hi
I believe I made huge problem - I had not mentioned that I have dual citizenship in my express entry application, only that am a citizen of my the current country am a resident in. the other country am citizen of is not Canada or US.
I have obtained CoPR/Visa now, but am starting to feel that this is in fact a very big problem, as the officer will question if I have other citizenships for sure seeing that am born in the unmentioned country.
what can I do? what are my options? do I travel to candada and risk being sent back home? i tried to send a webform to IRCC, but it only mentions issues during the process of the application and not after obtaining CoPR. What can I do?

I did not forget, I was naive, I thought simply because my passport was expired and I have no ties with the country anymore, and that am not applying for citizenship that I did not need to add it. which I understand is a stupid reason. please, can you advise anything?

I would pay for a consult with a good Canadian immigration lawyer. Don't travel to Canada and land until you do that. This is misrepresentation.

To be clear, you won't have any issues coming to Canada now. Where this could potentially be a very big problem later is when you apply for citizenship and/or if IRCC ever independently determines you failed to declare your second citizenship. I would strongly recommend getting the consult with the lawyer before traveling here.

Thank you for the response Scylla - but will this not become an issue if I use a solicitor now without informing IRCC that I have a representative,even though the solicitor did not help me with the initial application? sounds like am making the issue bigger here, or am I mistaken?

also if I decided to travel now - and this is probably dependant on the immigration officer - but is there a chance of liniency if I inform them of this situation as soon as I arrive at the booth? and allow me in to resolve within canada later?

No, asking for a lawyer's advice now won't be an issue. They didn't help you with your application. You are looking for their advice now on a matter related to your application.

Again, I don't think you will face any issues when you originally arrive in Canada. However you may very well face issues when you apply for Canadian citizenship later which could create big issues for you. This is why you need to speak with a lawyer now.

There's no process for resolving this issue later once you are in Canada. This needed to be delcared as part of your application.

Thanks Scylla - I am not planning to become a citizen of Canada, but plans change, and I cannot risk that. I will try to speak to a Canada immigration lawyer here in the UK. although there are also lawyers in Canada that I may have to get in touch with for advise from there.
Iif this is impossible to fix I may have to live with this mistake. and have nobody but myself to blame!
