Draw will be tomorrow

I am now pretty sure that the announcement of draw and ITA will take place tomorrow. I think they have to publish in the Canada Gazette which publishes on Saturdays. So the there it is. Nothing is gonna happen today.

ITA draws will be made from the Express Entry pool on a regular basis. Every draw will have a set of instructions the electronic system will use to draw candidates from the pool. These instructions will be posted on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website before each draw.

I presume nobody will be able to update CIC website tomorrow. Moreover, it is a very complicated custom software which is first time in production use. It is crazy to force developers(who are 100% contractors) to work on Saturday in case of emergency.
But what I do believe, it that they have some issues all over this week. Otherwise, they would make some public messages. They must be fixing this problem and that is why it takes so long. If it is true, they easily can wait some days even in February until problems are solved.

They launched the system on a Saturday, though (and a state holiday, I presume).

I am more inclined to agree with you because there is no sign of it been done today and I doubt they will work Saturday so my guess is early February unless they surprise us in the next 3 hours lol.

That is highly possible, I even expect them to have forgotten the email that they provided for password backup
