DRAFT RETURNED - URGENT - QORAZ,ROCKY,PMM help needed pls

Hi Qorax,Rocky,PMM

I just received a letter from New Delhi consulate stating that the draft enclosed for myself and my wife is incorrect.

I had sent two drafts - one for my myself and other for my wife - my draft was for 550 CAD and hers was for INR 24060

He has also attached a letter along with that underlining Right of permanent residence fee as INR 21440 and CAD 490.

Now since i had applied under Federal skilled worker class - I paid 550 and my wife eq of CAD 550

I dont know y it is CAD 490 ... but then he has underlined CAD 490 .. . so does it mean I have to pay 490 x 2 = 980 CAD or INR eq. of 980 CAD... ALSO I WANT TO KNOW IS IT OK IF I CLUB THE AMT TOGETHER FOR MYSELF AND MY WIFE - BY MAKING ONE COMMON DRAFT

Please note that i and my wife have already done our medicals and our passports are with New Delhi consulate

Any help will be highly appreciated .....

U always come to my rescue ... I appreciate ur inputs ....I m here in Toronto ... so i will ask my wife to send the draft to New delhi -- it will be quick and they will receive it in a day or two ....

Thx buddy ...u r rite - i made a mistake.. but my draft is already on the way for revised amt - hopefully this time ard i will get the visa on passport

I just gave my passport to fedex to courier it and they did
I couriered it to my wife who in turn couriered it to Consulate in New delhi and now the consulate has asked for my address in India - so they gonna send my passport to my address in India

N then my wife will courier me over here in Toronto and i ll go over to US conuslate and get my visa and renter Canada to finish my landing procedure

Hi Ravs..the info given by explorer is absolutely right, send them the new draft of Rs.42880 in favour of "Canadian High commission" payable at New Delhi...hope you receive your passports back very soon...i'm also waiting to receive them....chalo, keep posting...

Yea .. just a small mistake ... but now its sorted out and i have sent them the revised draft and its already reached them ... hopefully should get my visas stamped soon ...good luck to u buddy
