Canada Struggling to deal with Backlog

Do you mean to say that you want your application NOC 4131 to be "seize-out and returned" to you as 4131 is no more in demand as per MI-3? And of-course it ends your wait too!!!

Canada Struggling to deal with Backlog

The so called "in-demand" job list is the biggest joke in this immigration processing. To those of you who are suggesting that the backlog applicants may have the points but if there are no demand for their skills, what work will they get (in Canada)? Well my answer to that is the same jobs...

Canada Struggling to deal with Backlog

CIC is well aware that any retrospective amending of regulations to the detriment of backlog applicants will open floodgates of litigation, something that happened in 2003.

Canada Struggling to deal with Backlog

Government can not "do away" with the old applications, if they could they would have done that long ago. Closing intake of new applications is the only solution.

    Job offer reality

Immigrants do not come to a new country to fail..... they come to work hard to improve their living standards..... but the reality always dawns once you are in the battlefield. If only 10% get into to their fields does not mean that other 90% did not evaulate their credentials, try to upgrade...

Even in 2013 Delhi does not gaurantee processing to begin. Do not look at the 87...

All Applicants in backlog not having any definite processing time line.. WAKE-UP

Mass withdrawl is not the answer.... you will simply play into their scheme of things and make things easy to get rid of the backlog. CIC will be more than happy if you withdraw. The only option is a court case against the injustice. Timothy Leahy is filing mandamus litigation to get files...

..... and lack of "common sense" a skill that also seems to be on short supply in Ca but still didn't place find in 29 category list :D At the time of introducing MI in Feb2008 if the CIC had simply culled through the files and picked up the so called "in-demand" occupations the backlog would...

Did you Know? - BACKLOG THEORY

If CIC knew what they were doing there would have been NO backlogs in the first place. Backlog means poor or no planning.

    88 monyhs

Delhi has still pending with Dec2003 applicants ie 92 months and counting. Beat that? And to add insult to injury Delhi says they will not be processing pre-feb2008 applications for this year and next year ie is good 2 years. Hats off to the CIC.

    UNFAIR!

Try telling that to someone who has waited 8 years and counting. It is a policy of robbing Paul of his turn in the queue to give Peter a priority. How do you expect Paul to appreciate that??? It is little comfort for Paul that there will now be fewer Peters.
  17. P

    UNFAIR!

We might have to "attach a separate sheet" (as CIC forms state), to provide additional list of unfair policies by CIC and we are likely run-out of separate sheets.

    UNFAIR!

It is heartwarming to know that some do empathise with those subjected to unfair policy of queue-jumping. :)

    UNFAIR!

Wrong??? :o How do you explain this: Top Priority Cases: filed since 1 July 2011 Second Priority Cases: 26 June 2010 to 30 June 2011 Third Priority Cases: filed 27 Feb 2008 to 25 June 2010 Last Priority Cases: lodged before 27 February 2008 8 years wait vs 8 months..... how do you call that...

    UNFAIR!

Well Jalap "Unfair" is an essential ingredient of Canadian immigration policy. As they say life is not fair and neither is Canadian immigration.
