Doubt regarding PCC requirement for PR application

Hello,

I recently received an ITA to apply for PR under CEC.

As part of my application, I am being requested for Police Verification Certificates (multiple).

But, I read that PCC is only required for places (not including Canada) where I would have stayed for more than 6 months after turning 18.

I came to Canada within 2 months of turning 18, and I have been back to visit only twice since. Both times, it was for less than 1 month. Clearly, I havent stayed in India for more than 6 months after turning 18.

Would I still need to attach a PCC for India? And why am I being asked for multiple PCCs? The only other country I've been to is the US, which was for 5 days only.

If I don't need a PCC, what should I upload instead? Anyone who is/was in a similar situation as me? What did you do?

Police Certificates (multiple) is the default set in the personalized checklist for everyone. It is the applicant's responsibility to check and submit as many PCC as needed.
Based on the length of your trips to the countries you have visited, you don't need a PCC upfront for those countries. If needed, IRCC will ask for that.
As suggested, write an LOE and explain that you don't need a PCC. Upload this LOE in place of PCC. Good luck with your application :)
