Doubt regarding Masters academic years completed

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of filling out the form for EE. In the education section it asks for the number of academic years completed for Masters degree. Officially, the duration of my masters degree is 2 years. However, as most of the students in US do, I too completed my degree in one and a half year.

I have tried two variations for the answer i.e. 1 year 6 months and 1.6 , but these gave me an error. Please advice on what I should write in the answer.

I am confused because I have mentioned the from and to dates which totals upto 1 year 6 months.

What error is it giving you? The CIC system isn't smart enough to kick out an error for a masters degree not being exactly two years. There has to be another issue going on with your dates.

I am getting the error ' Incorrect format'. Basically, it's telling me to input a whole number. I want to make sure filling 2 years isn't going to be debatable in future.

As far as I remember, CIC considers 8 months in a year to be an academic year. I think you should be okay to select 2 years.
