You have said so precisely here, but got confused when i reached the actual section. It goes like this:dan_and said:It's based on the job duties. You will need to prove (through a reference letter) that your actual work experience was in the job duties outlined in the NOC profile that you choose. The educational qualification listed under the NOC code is not a definitive requirement.
You will need to truthfully enter your NOC for all the work experience you have (and for which you want to claim points for). Your teaching job and the analyst role seem vastly different, so you cannot use the same NOC code for this (and certainly not a management NOC - how would that be applicable to either?).
Instead:
- Choose the right NOC code for your teaching job and enter it under the work experience section
- Choose the right NOC code for your analyst job and enter it under the work experience section
You will have to nominate your primary NOC code, and you should use the teaching job's NOC code for this because then you can claim points for 4 years' experience instead of just one.
CIC is not going to give you a conditional 'Teacher' PR or an 'Associate Analyst' PR. Your future work in Canada need not be in the same category as the work experience used to obtain PR.Dineshkc said:You have said so precisely here, but got confused when i reached the actual section. It goes like this:
When I fill Application/Profile Details, I find a section: Primary Occupation. Did you mean I should give the TEACHING JOB (4 years experience but not period is asked) here as my primary education, or ASSOCIATE ANALYST?
Because,”We will assess Dinesh K C's current and previous jobs for eligibility for Express Entry, and use them to calculate Dinesh K C's score. You can tell us about each job by filling in the fields below. Do not enter any work related to or performed during an apprenticeship process.”
Does this not mean that, if I enter teaching as my PRIMARY OCCUPATION which “IS” not the same now, then will they consider me in Management field in future? As above quote from that section says I will be assessed based on the work history, which PRIMARY OCCUPATION should I give, Asivad? For the benefits in both ways: 1) More points. 2) Primary Occupation and future job field (As teaching is not my job anymore).
I am afraid that if I give Associate Analyst job as primary education and I turn up to be Not-Eligible due to the lack of point.. But, at the same time, If i give Teaching as primary occupation, I get the points but if the working field itself changes and I will have trouble getting jobs in Management fields later on, then it will be a problm.
I am stuck here now, Thank you so much for your help...
Improve your IELTS to CLB 9/10 (at least 8 in L and 7 in R/W/S) and that will push your score to 460. Strongly recommend that you repeat IELTS.Dineshkc said:So Disappointing Score..
Just Overall 406.

I agree with Asivad. I can't stress enough on the importance of IELTS. My IELTS results are the reason I received an ITADineshkc said:Thank you Asivad. I really appreciate your help..

No one with a CRS score below 451 has been selected in a draw since January. That's the only reason behind asking you to maximize your score. When the cutoff fell from nearly 470 to almost 450 earlier this month in just 1 week, there were more than 1500 people picked up between that 20 point gap! If you project that downwards to 400 levels, you can estimate that there will easily be more than 10,000 applicants in the pool between 400 and 450 and probably much higher than that. Personally, I don't foresee the cutoff coming to 400 any time in the near future - there are just too many people in that range.Dineshkc said:Thanks Sam.
That sounds compelling for me to take the test again. But it is too far; October end/November. But, why would I lose hope on 406? Is it that all the people get rejected because they have the score 400? I am asking this because of two reasons; 1) Next available test is in November. 2) Even after I get the good result which will in turn give me more score, and this will not ensure ITA, only thing is i have more possibility. Isn't it friends?
Thanks a lot for your view here. By the way, I have already started to look for early date for the test.
Thanks Asivad again.Asivad Anac said:No one with a CRS score below 451 has been selected in a draw since January. That's the only reason behind asking you to maximize your score. There is nothing to accept in that letter, it just shows that Ontario is interested in your profile and should you consider you can go ahead and apply with Ontario for provincial nomination. Once you submit your docs to them they will consider your application separately for PN.Dineshkc said:Hello Asivad,
I tried for a long time to find the way out myself for the following confusion but could not make it through, Can you pls help me here again?
I got a message in MyCiC ‘Application messages' with the subject; ‘'Express Entry - Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter'' and the message heading; “Express Entry - Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter”. It says; Government of Ontario is interested in considering me for nomination under it Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express entry.
The Issue is that, I am not able to find the link to ‘accept the PNP Nomination, not from Ontario website nor CIC website. Does this mean I have to create my express entry profile again after withdrawing the current profile? What does the message mean?
Could you pls help me understand it and proceed further if it says so?
Thank you very much.
Thank you Cartwright.cartwright said:There is nothing to accept in that letter, it just shows that Ontario is interested in your profile and should you consider you can go ahead and apply with Ontario for provincial nomination. You dont need to create your profile again.
Yes you would need to fill up the OOPNP application from there site and submit the requested document along with fees for them to process your PNP application. Based on your app they will decide on whether to issue a PN to you.Dineshkc said:Thank you Cartwright.
But I am supposed to contact the PT directly ya? What should i do next?
