Doubt before initiating process for Express entry

Hi All,

Would really appreciate if someone can help me with the below queries:

1. I am married and would like to add on the points for my wife's education and experience.
I would be getting my ECA done with WES this month but my question is , whether I need to
pay twice for ECA in order to get my wife's ECA done or does WES take us as a single entity since we are
applying as husband and wife?

2. I address in the passport is the old one and we have already shifted to a new place. also, My Spuse name is not added
on the passport as yet. Would that play a role in any way during this process?

3. It has been really tight with getting dates for IELTS General Study in India so I would be appearing 2 months before my wife appears for it. In such a scenario, am I allowed to create Express Entry Profile for now and probably down the line add my wife's IELTS score to increase my over all points?

4. In my scenario, my wife is a masters and have good experience. In short she seems to be a better candidate for
express entry. In such a scenario wherein she is the primary applicant and I am secondary, once we get the PR in hand
, I am allowed to travel to Canada first, search for a job and then call my wife.

5. If I wait for my wife to complete the IELTS and then build my profile for the express entry, that means I will have to wait until September mid. I read somewhere are the pools being limited. Can we see online, which is the current pool and how many more pools are left.
Just want to make sure, I am not getting very late to build my profile.

6. Lastly, I have 5.5 years of experience at the moment and I see the slabs of 4-5 years and 6+ years in the process.
Will my points be calculated for 4-5 years or 6+ years. Does CIC consider the fact that it will more close to 6+ around September when I build my profile.

These doubts are roadblocks at the moment in my process.
Please help me with this !! ???

You'll have to apply separately. WES doesn't care about marital status.

2. I address in the passport is the old one and we have already shifted to a new place. also, My Spuse name is not added

Address doesn't matter for now and might matter when you want a PCC - recommend you get your passport edited on address and adding your spouse's name. (PCC for India here ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/india.asp)

3. It has been really tight with getting dates for IELTS General Study in India so I would be appearing 2 months before my wife appears for it. Yes. You can edit your profile till you get an ITA and for changes after that, you can submit a letter of explanation.

4. In my scenario, my wife is a masters and have good experience. In short she seems to be a better candidate for
express entry. In such a scenario wherein she is the primary applicant and I am secondary, once we get the PR in hand

Not sure but I don't think dependent can travel alone initially without the primary applicant. Check this with others as well.

5. If I wait for my wife to complete the IELTS and then build my profile for the express entry, that means I will have to wait until September mid. I read somewhere are the pools being limited. Can we see online, which is the current pool and how many more pools are left.
Just want to make sure, I am not getting very late to build my profile.

EE is a real-time process where people enter and exit the pool all the time for various reasons. There are draws that happen periodically to give ITAs to applicants who score above the required cutoff mandated for that draw. This cutoff varies from one draw to the next and the lowest so far has been 453/1200. (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/rounds.asp)

You're neither early nor late. There is an annual intake quota set by CIC which is for them to worry about. As far as you are concerned, enter the pool, try to increase your CRS score as much as possible and then sit back and wait for a draw that has a cutoff lower than your CRS score so that you get an ITA. Period.

In addition to this route for ITA, there are provincial nominations as well which will help you gain additional 600 points thereby guaranteeing an ITA. You can find details about those on other threads from time to time. Each province has it's own set of criteria for nominations and you might not meet the criteria for all of them or you might not be interested in some of them. Spend time on the forum threads to learn more and decide.

6. Lastly, I have 5.5 years of experience at the moment and I see the slabs of 4-5 years and 6+ years in the process.
Will my points be calculated for 4-5 years or 6+ years. Does CIC consider the fact that it will more close to 6+ around September when I build my profile.

6 years is for FSW calculation on 100 point scale - that is just for program eligibility and has nothing to do with your CRS score in EE. Your CRS score maximizes when you have 3 years of full-time, paid work experience in the last 10 years which is true in your case. So if you're eligible under FSWP (scoring at least 67 on this grid
(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp), then you don't have to wait till September. Your CRS score on Work experience will already be at the highest possible.

These doubts are roadblocks at the moment in my process.
Please help me with this !! ???
