Hi,

I have an interview/test in 3 weeks but i don't have the original COPR i lost it, i have a copy

Should it be a problem ?

Does it matter if i have my PR card ? is it not the same thing ?
No, it's not same thing.

You need to physically have both the PR card as well as COPR in original. If you have lost the COPR, it can create issues however, applying of VOS can help a bit. Apply it and take the receipt during the interview.

Thank you for your response, however the COPR was not a required document for my application i just sent a copy as extra documentation, does it make it less of a problem ?

As it is a legal document and is also required for future reference too, thus it's always a good idea to get the VOS document in case you lost your COPR.

Im not 100% sure but wouldn't a copy be as good as the original?
If you have sent the photocopy of have a photocopy of the document, it is good. However, government may need to see the original during citizenship interview or in future regarding pension etc.

During the interview, they checked my landing paper ( COPR).

my landing paper was checked during the interview.

I know some one lost her too. She applied a new one and received before the interview.

How did she receive it that fast. It takes 6 months

You applied with the old form .. it was required document

Now they don't ask for it anymore i just sent it as extra documentation so my case is different i guess

even if it is not a required document, you still need to have it. If you lost it get VOS. If you don't get it before interview, take the receipt with you in case the office asks for it. If you get VOS before interview, take it to the interview and provide it to the officer in case he/she asks.

It's a life long document and regardless of the circumstances, you should get VOS for your future.

i agree and i ordered VOS. However i am a bit concerned for the interview but if they don't require it in the application why would they ask for it in the interview.
