doing medical exam abroad applying for USA

I have got invitation under FSW and need to submit it in December.

I live in USA on H-1B visa but I'm travelling to home country (India) and not going to be back to USA before the deadline.

Is it fine then to get medical done in India, will they take care of sending results to necessary IRCC office in or Canada consulate in New York where I will be going for visa stamping if my PR application is approved.

Any experiences or info. please share. thanks!

Yes, it is fine to do your medicals in a different country. Your doctor will be able to upload the required information and it. Your medical has nothing to do with your visa office. Good luck!

also FBI clearance(USA) is currently taking much linger times, their office says they are just opening application mailed in aroudn August 15th and mine was only posted end of September. So I may not likely even get receipt that I applied. what to do about that? attach letter explaning this with my email correspondence with FBI or any other option? I received clearances from other countries I needed to though already.

I actually have FBI clearance that I had got few months back for PA department of edu. for voluntary teaching I do and thatt is and states my fingerprints verified with FBI but not issued by FBI. Can that work?

Follow these CIC instructions:

If you applied for a police certificate, but do not have it by the deadline to submit your online application, write or type your explanation on a blank piece of paper and upload it in the Police Certificate section. You must also upload supporting documents that prove you applied for it, such as a confirmation receipt, payment receipt, delivery notice, tracking number, etc.

Only FBI Identity History Summary Checks are accepted by CIC. If this is what you have and it is less than 6 months old, then you can use it. Otherwise, you unfortunately can't.

thank you again! yes I read that instruction and since I applied by regular post have no tracking/delivery record. Hence I reached out to FBI office for atleast receipt of application and they say they cannot until they open application and that I not likely going to happen by my deadline in months time as they are way backed up in even opening the mails.

So do I write this explanation and attach?

Other clearance I already have is within 6months issued by PA Dept. of Education and says unofficial copy of results of my federal criminal history Record Information (CHRI) and says fingerprint verified by CJIS division, FBI. any idea then? please inform.

Since you don't have any proofs, I would recommend that you send a second FBI application with tracking option asap and include both applications in the explanation letter. I also don't think your PA certificate can be used.
