Hi

Need some clarification on family class sponsorship.

Does my wife need to be employed in order to sponsor me? She and my kids are residing in Ontario.
Any details regarding this will be appreciated.

No. But if you are the primary income earner in the family, CIC will want to know how you plan on supporting your family once you come to Canada.
