Does the embassy wants regular photos or passport photos?

Hi guys,

we have submitted our Passport and passport photos to the Canadian embassy for spouse sponsorship , now they send us an Email to provide colored photos of my wife and my daughter, It doesn’t say anything else, we don’t know to provide passport photos or just regular family photos?
any idea

this is the Email they send:

“Please provide colored photos of the following persons for the finalization of your documents.”

Re-read the instructions you received for submitting the application. Every one I have ever heard of had specific link to photo specifications, that they are the ones for permanent resident card (not visa or passport).

If they specified colour, it MAY be that the issue was that you submitted B&W but otherwise okay.

But it may not be. Easy answer: follow the instructions.
