Dear Forum members,

This is the first time that I have stepped in this forum with a request. These days I was simply a reader since my spouse is a principal applicant categorized as pre-june applicant. The recent info, I would rather say bolt from the blue, are coming to their ecas status from RBVO directly to DM without explaining very good reasons. My spouse's ecas shows "In Process" since last couple months and we do not find ourselves in a safety zone. In contrast to the pre-june applicant, post-june applicants are getting very quick responses from their respective VOs. Taking into this account I have decided that why should not I stand as a principal applicant? But I am not sure if my spouse's position (as principal applicant) does contradict with my eligibility? That is, am I eligibility to be a prinicpal applicant while any decision on my spouse has not made till today? Dear members, I look forward to your insights and comments. Let me share that I can score also 67 points now.

Please suggest me........

Yep...
Well my wife is the Principal Applicant for an Application that was sent in 2006...Thats been sent to Antarctic for Penguin's pleasure ripping :)

I applied as Principal Applicant in May 2011, and am at Medicals.

SO the point is there are no issues, as long as you can afford the Fee.

That is your wife's file is under the consideration of VO and no decision has been made yet. Am I right? Then possibly it signals green for me. Thank you Himselff!!!

Welcome :)
Well her (My Wife's) Application status has been In-Process since BC :) ....
Anyways the point is, you can have 2 parallel applications running...and if one is decided you can or will be asked to withdraw the other. So no issues dude. Though Fee is gone.

Thanks a lot for the info. :)
In my case, its my husband who is already the applicant and his NOC is no more in the demand list. If his file is rejected (Noooooooooooo, God pls shower your mercy on VO), then my file will be under their review, is it? Could you pls share some info what are the steps involved to withdraw a file.

Best

Well if you are in the NOCs that can apply, according to the new Rules etc. You will be processed quickly and he will be able to withdraw. NO need to withdraw anything, right now.

Just make a NEW pack of Application, Document, with the person Prinicipal Applicant who is elligible.

Attach a cover letter with details of previous application, with File Number, name, DOB etc, just telling that you previously applied, but are re-applying under the FSW program as you are elligible, thats it, no need for excuse or reason.

And send the pack to CIO...
