No,you need to be physically present in canada to claim the experience ,any work done outside Canada even for the canadian companies will not count as a canadian experience. It will count as a foreign experience.

2. No
Yep, exactly.Hello thanks for your answer, so you say my Canadian experience time started by my full time work started and I need to stay physically in Canada to keep it that way?
Neither will count as Canadian work experience.Hello,
First of all thank you all for your valuable answers, i learned a lot from above answers and questions as well, please kindly check my conditions below and suggest me if my remote working time will be counted for my pr process.
I came to canada on January 24(this year) . I was student in a public campus for 4 months( finished first semester) and then with another special program I got my 3 years of OWP (not PGWP) and i left 2 years program school after completing first semester( I have transcript for 1st semester). Since May 1st I am working full time on site with physical existence as manager, but by September 1s I will go to Brazil and continue working for the same Canadian company , my paystubs and everything will be continuing during my abroad working time. So in total I have 4 months of public school experience , and 3 months of full time working experience untill now.
My questions are
1) will my studying time(4 months) be counted as Canadian experience for my PR process?
2) will my abroad working time be counted as Canadian experience for my PR process?
So according to your answers I will decide whether I should ask my company to pay my taxes and salary as before if my abroad working time going to be counted as Canadian experience.
p.s. : I had, have and will be having my Canadian address as my mailing contact during all these processes.(I have lease contract and everything officially)
Thanks so much In advance for your answers and valuable time, your suggestions will be really so much helpful to me to see my future path.
All the best!
Hi,
For the past year, I've been working for a Canadian company on a post-graduation work permit. The job was web development and was remote work which means that I worked from home while residing in Canada for the entire year.
I am going to apply for Express Entry and my question is whether CEC will accept this as Canadian work experience? I have all the required documents for proof of work such as NOA, T4, pay stub, and employment letter.
Please advise, thank you!
No need to mention that, it least it's not required. What required is that you should mention where exactly you work that is an address. If it's your home, you can use that.Hello,
I am working in Canada remotely for a Canadian employer. We don’t have a physical office, only a registered company address. Should I mention remote work in my reference letter?
Really helpful if you could let me know the format of the reference letter.
No need to mention that, it least it's not required. What required is that you should mention where exactly you work that is an address. If it's your home, you can use that.
Yes. You can mention that you work from home just for clarification. It's not an issue anyway.I appreciate your response. So, I just need to put my registered company address and, for the working location, use my Canadian home address, and I should be good to go.
