No,you need to be physically present in canada to claim the experience ,any work done outside Canada even for the canadian companies will not count as a canadian experience. It will count as a foreign experience.

Hey there. Currently tackling all the PR requirements. I'm living in BC at the moment, about to take a full-time job at a company who are based in Toronto. I will be based in BC, but will also need to travel abroad for work. Does this count as 1 year work experience for PR? Thankyou

1- Short business trips should not be a problem; there are many entries in Canadavisa forum about this; you can search on Google.
2- Keep in consideration that you will not be able to benefit from any provincial nominee in the future if you live and work in different provinces.

Hello,
First of all thank you all for your valuable answers, i learned a lot from above answers and questions as well, please kindly check my conditions below and suggest me if my remote working time will be counted for my pr process.

I came to canada on January 24(this year) . I was student in a public campus for 4 months( finished first semester) and then with another special program I got my 3 years of OWP (not PGWP) and i left 2 years program school after completing first semester( I have transcript for 1st semester). Since May 1st I am working full time on site with physical existence as manager, but by September 1s I will go to Brazil and continue working for the same Canadian company , my paystubs and everything will be continuing during my abroad working time. So in total I have 4 months of public school experience , and 3 months of full time working experience untill now.

My questions are
1) will my studying time(4 months) be counted as Canadian experience for my PR process?
2) will my abroad working time be counted as Canadian experience for my PR process?

So according to your answers I will decide whether I should ask my company to pay my taxes and salary as before if my abroad working time going to be counted as Canadian experience.
p.s. : I had, have and will be having my Canadian address as my mailing contact during all these processes.(I have lease contract and everything officially)

Thanks so much In advance for your answers and valuable time, your suggestions will be really so much helpful to me to see my future path.

All the best!

Neither will count as Canadian work experience.
