Hi,

I made that almost two years ago in my home country and after that I didn't go back but stay in Canada till now.
Is that possible to use this one with another Toronto police certificate together to prove none-criminal history ?
Because it's very hard to go back and make another one.

Thanks advanced,

You can use that PCC. You don't need to get Toronto police certificate. CIC will ask you to get an RCMP report if an when required.

Here's the official wording:

PCs are typically valid for one year from the date they are issued.

For the applicant’s current country of residence, the PC must be issued no more than six months before submission of the e-APR.

For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the PC must be issued later than the departure date of the last time the client resided in that country for more than six months.
Good luck !!

Thanks, not suer if I understand well.

The 3rd one means I need to have a PC which issued time was after I left my home country.
I had one last time when I went back, then I left for Canada.
According to 3rd above, it's invalid now???

How many days did you stay back after getting that PCC?

Unfortunately, I don't think yours is valid anymore. Since it was issued before you left your home country.

It's hard to say..
I started temporary resident in Canada since Sept, 2013.
I went back to home country Apr,2014 for 2 months and get the PC I have during that time.
I stayed in Canada till now.
So am I qualified for the point three?

I started temporary resident in Canada since Sept, 2013. because I started school here.

For the point 3, I'm not residing in my home country. So can I say my resident in Canada was started from 2013, and PC was got after that time in 2014.
Am I qualified for point 3 you mentioned?

If PCC from you original country was issued after you left it to inmigrate to Canada should be OK.

if you returned to your original country just for vacation a short time (Lee's than 6 months I think), that's OK.

In my last vacation I got PCC from my country when I visited for a few weeks vacation and it worked.

But, of course, it's not guarantee it works for everybody, every CIC officer can get a different opinion, so just in case submit your old PCC and request a new one just in case like I did or if you have enough time wait for the new one to be sure

Thanks,

A quick question. What will they do if they want to request me a new one? will they say 'request extra material' or they will reject me directly ? Or I might be not pass the first session when they review my files and reject it?

Hard to say, it's depends of VO, some friend was rejected because PCC was issued before he left the country (he was living, no in vacation).

When was issued your PCC?
When you left the country to come to Canada?
It's your original country?
Did you come back in vacation for less hand 6 months?

If PCC was issued BEFORE you left it's not valid.

If PCC was issued AFTER you left, but you came back for a short vacation SHOULD BE valid, specially if is your home country.

If PCC was issued more than a year ago COULD BE expired, in that case you should add a Letter or Explanation about why you couldn't obtain a newer one or, better, that you requested one but not received yet (add proof of request)

I think the problem is PCC is older than 1 year.
You should check this link to order a new one.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/security/police-cert/index.asp

If you send a no valid PCC your application will be rejected (same case than a friend of mine)

If the only problem is PCC older than 1 year and you add a good Explanation (add this letter to your PCC when upload it in a unique file) PERHAPS application can be accepted as per VO discretion.

To be sure I would suggest to apply ASAP for a new PCC, if will take long time add this information and receipts to the PCC explanation letter.

Keep in mind, as an standard rule, application must be completed to avoid rejection, or at least explain convincely why it's not complete.
