No. It only needs to be a combination of skilled jobs: A, B or O.wenfeizh said:Can it be with different NOCS?
for example, 11 months of NOC B 1241 and 1 month of NOC 1221? (just an example)?
What are you applying for? Are you using LMIA or you want to apply under CEC? Whichever it is, there should only be one NOC that you want to be credited for your points. If your applying under CEC then one NOC for 1 year.wenfeizh said:Can it be with different NOCS?

Since when is that? And where does it say so?JWZR421 said:Whichever it is, there should only be one NOC that you want to be credited for your points. If your applying under CEC then one NOC for 1 year.

I applied under 3 to 4 NOC codes. 3 of the 4 were with the same company, my NOC changed due to promotion. The other NOC was a short term contract in a different field. I recently received my DM and PPR 2 days ago.wenfeizh said:Can it be with different NOCS?

wenfeizh said:sorry but what is DM and PPR?

I think I may be way ahead in the process than you based on these acronyms. Have you applied as yet? I applied under CEC in August 2014. DM means decision made on your online status. PPR is passport request. It's the last step. They request your passport to give you a temporary visa so you can land as a PR!!! Best of luck on your application. Feel free to ask any questions, I could probably be an immigration lawyer now!! haha
Thank you! Your day will come. I took 20 months but EE is much quicker than CEC now lol. Start right away, get it out the way. Every day counts, especially when you're counting down the days to get it haha. I kept procrastinating and I wish I just started it a few weeks earlier! Best of luck!!!wenfeizh said:Wow huge congrats!!! And no i haven't even started yet haha. But I just recently completed my 1-year requirement, got my IELTS already. So i will go ahead and start creating my EE profile, and hopefully be picked soon...

Hey, ask away no problems. Could you clarify what two weeks lay off means? Were you still employed with the company under a binding contract or were you between jobs and had no employer? If you want to be extra safe I would make sure the 2 weeks is tacked onto the end (aka right now, maybe go unti mid April) just for good measure.wenfeizh said:My goal is to get in the pool before the next draw. Although right now the points have been really high and I dont have quite enough to get an ITA if it stays that high. Also i want to be extra careful with my 1-year requirement.
Could you take a look at my employment history and tell me if I have completed the 1-year requirement as of today?
I started working in NOC B 1241 on March 23, 2015. It's a permanent full time position. But we had two weeks lay off last August. In October-November, there was 4 weeks period where I got promoted as Acting NOC B 1221 position. After that, I have been working as my regular NOC 1241 position. I believe I have completed the 1-year requirement (excluding the 2 weeks lay off time last August). But I just want to be extra careful with this. Any idea?
Thanks
(I promise this is the last question haha)
Ok, so my organization is funded by IRCC, because the budget cut in the last two years, every year in August we will have two weeks where nobody works and dont get paid, to absorb the cut. But after the two weeks, we go back to work as normal. And my position is permanent full time, I checked with my supervisor on that already.sdabadie said:Hey, ask away no problems. I'm not certain what the EE acronyms are! ITA/draw are all foreign terms to me.

EE=express entry. ITA=Invitation to apply.
The new system is different from the old CEC. They put you in a pool with your own points, the higher you have, the more likely you get picked to apply for PR.
