Oooh, well if your contract constitutes a full time employee/employer agreement and given the fact that your company must come to a halt for two weeks, I don't think you will be considered as responsible for filling in the 2 week gap with other employment to complete the 1 year requirement. Sounds like you're over thinking, which is what I do as well, which is usually good in immigration applications lol. You really need to scrutinize every point. If I were in your position, I would consider myself eligible to apply based on the fact that one calendar year has passed and you are with the same employer, working on a full time permanent basis.

Thanks I think so too. And since the next draw won't happen until end of April (if IRCC follows its own pattern), I still have 1 -2 weeks before I finally submit my EE profile, by then I should definitely have finished the 1-year requirement. (Unless for some reasons they don't count the 4 weeks temporary promotion, which you never know about these IRCC people nowadays). But thanks for you replies.

Good luck on your application too! :D
