1) We know that CIC-M approves/rejects sponsors, based on their application. But does CIC also check the Visa Application for completeness and correctness too?
2) Once CIC-M approves the sponsor, does it forward both the Sponsor App. and the Visa App., or just the latter?
I suspect that CIC does check the Visa App., because I read somewhere that CIC-M returned an application to a sponsor because the photos were ALL signed on the back, not just one photo as the instructions require. The photos are with the Visa Application, not the Sponsor Application, so therefore CIC-M must be checking the Visa Application too.
The importance of this is that if CIC-M does forward the application to the Visa Office, we can presumably be confident that the application will be considered complete and correct by the Visa Office too.
Of course, the VIsa Ofice might requst other doecumentation too, but won't be finding fault with the application(s)per se.
