Hi I have received an ITA but I have a question regarding the Education Section. It says that I need to provide educational documents ,which can be a copy of my degree, diploma or certificate.

I just finished my master's degree in Canada and I have a letter from my department stating that I have met all the requirements and that I am only waiting for convocation which is in 2 months (in November, 2017).

Do you guys think this will be accepted by CIC as a proof of completion of studies for PR? or will I have to wait for my degree to be conferred? I mean I could wait until my convocation and still be in the 90 days to complete the application but I would like to get everything done asap.

In your education section, you can write a "cover letter" indicating what you have mentioned here. You can also attach your official academic transcript to further substantiate your claim. Lastly, you can finish off the letter indicating that you will submit the degree as soon as you have the convocation, through "Case Specific Enquiry". If you have a time issue, this is your only option, and I think there is no problem with it.

However, if you could wait until the graduation and would feel more comfortable that way, then you can simply delay the submission.

In any case, it would be fine I think.
