Just be careful after you get Canadian citizenship, do not commit any crime. If you do then Canada will take your Canadian citizenship away, and depart you backarman604 said:Oh for sure , At least I'm feel free ;D
Not any crime. Just treason or terrorism or citizenship fraud. If you commit other crime besides treason or terrorism, obtained citizenship through fraud, you won't lose your citizenship.valigap31 said:Just be careful after you get Canadian citizenship, do not commit any crime. How about if he is found guilty of treason that he never committed? Does that mean he has to go back to country he fled, and probably face death consequences.screech339 said:Not any crime. People are trying to scare people into thinking they will lose citizenship over any crime. That is completely bogus.
If he gave up his other citizenship then no chance at all.valigap31 said:How about if he is found guilty of treason that he never committed? Does that mean he has to go back to country he fled, and probably face death consequences.

Honestly though... a country that would just arbitrarily convict someone of a high crime without proof is probably no better than the country he just left. In cases like that, being sent back might not be such a bad thing after all.
