Does a new study permit cancel my current visitor visa

so I already gave a study permit and visa valid till March and I applied for a renewal for my permit. I plan on going back home on February but my visitors visa doesn’t expire till March so when I will probably get my new study permit around the beginning of February I won’t have time to apply for a new visitors visa but my does my current visitor visa stay valid when I get my new study permit?
