i'm an international student from China, my study permit will expire on October 2022, but it includes my current passport which is gonna expire on February 2021, I'm currently sending application to Chinese visa office for passport renewing, and I have some questions because I'm planning to return to China next May and back to Canada in September.
The questions are:
1. Can I use my new passport and my current study permit to renew my visa( it is also gonna expire on February 2021)?
2. When I leave Canada or try to enter Canada again, assuming that I have a valid visa, can I show my two passports(the new one and old one) and my study permit(with my old passport number), or should I apply for a new study permit before I leave canada, as soon as I receive my new passport?
Due to COVID-19 everything is delayed so much, so I'm not sure whether I can receive my new study permit before I leave Canada, so if my current study permit is available it will be fine since I can ask my friend to help receive the new study permit and send it to me.
