My wife (South African citizen) and I (Canadian citizen) both reside in SA and plan on visiting Canada in March for 6 months. We asked my mother to write a letter of invitation in support our application, but have a question regarding notarization. Does my mother need to notarize the letter of invitation and mail it to us? Or can she simply sign it and email it to us? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
