Does a gap after education matter for OINP?

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to apply for OINP and have below questions. It would really be helpful if anyone could answer these?

1) I have completed my Postgraduation in 2010 in UK, but could land a job only in 2011 after i came back to india. Will this gap have an impact on my application?

2) I have also take a break from employment for 8 months on the grounds of maternity, will this also have an effect?

2. No in most cases, only if it had stopped you from accumulating at least 1 year of work experience in the last 5 years. But I would assume you have this covered.
