Document checklist. Please help!

I am a newbie. As such, please bear with my question and help me out. In the document checklist, they require some of the documents in copies only ( not original). I would like to ask do we need to certify them at the notary office as true copy or we just need a copy?

Any Photocopy which you are sending should be attested by a Public Notary.

dont think so.. can you provide a link to the instruction in CIC website?

According to the instruction guide, Only translated documents need to be certified(notarized). Otherwise simple photocopies are sufficient.

It is not compulsory to certify photocopies. Only translated documents need to be notarised.
