I finished my MBBS in 2003 december. I am working in a hospital as employee.Because I see one of them(gynecologist) got rejected in this forum because he didn't have enough essential duties in the experience letter. So I am worried.
Include your degree, MCI registration copy and provide your experience letter on the letter head of the hospital which should describe the following;
*Clearly state the date of joining, date of leaving, name of the post you worked as ( eg. Resident Medical Officer ) and salary drawn.
* Most importantly, the duties you performed during your job( duties of an MBBS doctor) should be described in detail . You can get some idea
from the canadian website that describes these duties ;
Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
Perform and assist in routine surgery
Provide emergency care
Provide acute care management
Inoculate and vaccinate patients
Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care
Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
