Basmalahh +1 for you!!!

What about translations? A notarized translation will do? Or we must send certified copies of the documents to a Canadian translation agency? Thx!

@ Albabeu, Patricia & devilhimself:
My pleasure & Thanks for the pluses :)

@ Patricia:
If you are going to translate a paper, then you are going to HAVE to make the following:
- Make a copy from the document
- Notarize the copy at the nearest Canadian Embassy.
- Translate the notarised copy of the document at a legitimate translation office in the city you live in (which does not have to be Canadian).

A notarised translation in PCRC is not enough. A certified copy has to be attached to the translation.
You do not need to send your papers to a Canadian translation agency unless that is your wish.

First and foremost, many thanks for the useful information, my friend. May the Almighty bless the work of your hands and the endeavours of your mind.
As to the translation itself; are you sure? The PCRC site has certain requirements for what they consider an acceptable translation and I wonder how picky they are.
Obtaining a translation from a legally legitimate translator is easy. I would very much appreciate if you could please confirm this.
Thx
Patricia

Hi Patricia,

Legally legitimate translator should normally do the majority of the PCRC requirements from a translated document.

I translated my papers in one & my papers were accepted by PCRC.

The translation had the name of the office, their contact & registration details. They had the papers stapled with a special one to the verified copy. They also signed & stamped the translation.

Well, that was my personal experience.
I hope everything turns out fine for you.

Best regards,
Basmalahh

According to the new CIC checklist you should submit only original university transcript, but "sealed in a envelop" is not required.

Since it is hard for IMGs to get residency in canada and that too with caveats like return of service , IMO , it makes more sense
to go for USMLE steps 1,2 and 3 instead of going for MCCEE and MCCQE. With a good performance in USMLE, it is easier to get residency in US. One can use J-1 visa to complete residency in US . And a completed residency in US with passed 3 USMLE steps , makes you eligible to apply for a canadian license.
