Thanks for the reply. Actually I am a transfer student. But how can one wait for second week after the school start? I mean does that mean he will miss two weeks courses?Doda said:It depends mainly on your program. If you have a strict program of courses, you'll probably be already registered for them or the school will ask you to sign up for them. But in general you have till the 2nd - 3rd week after school starts to choose and enroll in your courses.

Don't bet the farm on that. Check the college rules. Mine is within 5 days of start of semester.Doda said:No, I meant you are able to enroll to classes even after 2 weeks of the school starts. students usually sign up for a lot of classes and drop the ones they don't want after a week or 2. Others may be late arriving to school or change minds in the first 2 weeks. It's called 'courses shopping'.

Yeah I think it depends on the university. My problem is that I am not able to enroll in any classes at this time. However, I worried if the canada immigration requires you to stay in full time enrollment? Like do I have to enroll full time right after arriving (landing) canada?itstime said:Don't bet the farm on that. Check the college rules. Mine is within 5 days of start of semester.
If the proposed changes come in to effect jan 1st or later, schools are starting to report to CIC if students are enrolled in their fullt time studies or not. If not.... there could be problems.kpwaiting said:Yeah I think it depends on the university. My problem is that I am not able to enroll in any classes at this time.
