Do we need to show where funds come from

I have a question whether we need to show where the funds came from.
For example my parents would sponsor me, If someone transfers the required amount in their account and then they transfer the required amount in my bank account THEN do we need to show how money got transferred into my parents accounts

If transaction is large and is been done a few months before filing an application for visa, CHC may question it.

Thanks Kista but kindly be more specific for a layman.

"they will ask where it came from" means they will ask in interview or will they reject and ask to reapply.

In either case, should I mention where it came from in my initial filling

No they wont reject it. But they would probably ask where did you get this money. You may explain it in the beginning.
