Do we need share renewed passport details with IRCC

My citizenship file is in process . I recently renewed my indian passport. Can someone please let me know if i need to share the new passport details with immigration department.

I'll be in the same situation soon. I believe that won't be necessary because the new passport will not have anything to do with your eligibility period.

Not at this time.
But, at the interview , the day of citizenship test, they will look at your passports to verify the time you spent in Canada
and your current nationality.
Remember to take both the old and the new one.

If you changed the passports in the 5 year eligibility period you have to share the details of all the passports. It clearly mentions in the application form.

No offense, please read the above post carefully, his new passport will be out of the 5 yr eligibility period.

But Still he will have to show both the passports at the citizenship interview;
his old passport for time spent in Canada during the eligibility period and
the new passport to show current nationality as the old one will be expired and invalid.

I needed to do the same when I had my PR application. Once you get AOR use this form online to submit a new scanned passport.
