Do I need to have my eduction assessed?

Hi. An year ago, I married a Canadian girl, who is currently lives in London, England. We met at University in 2009 and we have been with each other ever since. I have only been to Canada to meet her family, and her family came to England to meet mine. Now, we want to move to Toronto. We are going to apply for Spouse Visa this week, but I'm not sure if I need to have my credentials assessed?
