Hello Everyone,

I am considering migrating to Canada with my family, via the Express Entry programme. I do not need to have my degree evaluated as I studied in Canada (PhD). I will also be the primary applicant. What I would like to know is, do I need to have my husband's degrees evaluated? He has a Masters from the US, and another from Jamaica. I know I can earn extra points if I provide an evaluation report for his degrees when I submit my application, but is it absolutely necessary? Thanks!

PhD in Canada candidates do not need to be evaluated. Hope your PhD is complete.

It is not absolutely necessary. If you get his WES evaluation done, you'll get points for it. If you don't, you just don't get the points. That's all. I did not get my spouse's ECA done. It wasn't a problem.

Not necessary at all
