I have a post graduate diploma from Canada. Which means my highest education is a Canadian one. Do I still need to get an ECA for my foreign bachelors degree ? The requirement for my Canadian degree was that I had a bachelors degree. Please advise.

I think you should get the ECA because you can claim more points for two or more diplomas,degree...

Is your post grad diploma equivalent to a Masters degree?

If yes, then you don't need to get an ECA for your foreign bachelors - you'll already have maxed out the points.

If not, then you should, cause you'll get extra points for two degrees.

Thank you for your replies.
I dont know how to find out if my diploma is equivalent to a master's degree or not. Any tips how to find out ?
Also, it was a requirement for my diploma to have an undergraduate degree, in order to apply.

Well, it is quite simple. What's your post graduate diploma name? Is it a Masters?

If it's a Canadian masters degree, you don't need ECA. For everything else, you need it.

Um.. the name is "post graduate diploma."
If it said masters I would have mentioned it. I asked how to find the equivalency not what the degree is called. If you want to help please comment. Please refrain from passive aggressive replies. Everyone here is asking for help. No one is an expert. In this case, CLEARLY not even you

You can get a degree equivalency report from WES website. You would need ECA for PGD.
