Do all who file for MANDAMUS get a HEARING with a CJ?

Dear all,

Do all who file for Mandamus get a Hearing with a CJ?
I suspect, that my file was not touched by any Citizenship Officer for 2 years.
I filed for Mandamus and got a Hearing with a CJ.

Do you know of any cases, where CIC finalized processing of a "mandamus case" WITHOUT arranging a Hearing with a CJ ( --> simply by speeding up and making a decision based on the documents submitted with RQ)?

Am I correct, that no one on this forum has ever filed for Writ of Mandamus him/herself?

Not it goes to the federal court. But most fail.

Not it goes to the federal court. But most fail.

What goes to federal court? Mandamus or the application for citizenship itself? Federal court can't get involved in the application itself until there is a final determination by the CJ, other than ordering CIC to move the file or the CJ to rule on the case.
