You should post it somewhere else where you can seek seniors' attention. I've no clue re: this. But you should talk to the DMP's office beforehand.
Around Toronto, it's very casual. Infact, the receptionist was reluctant to have the FILE NO. STICKER. She said that the stickers are for my personal correspondence with CIC, IMM-1017 already has all ID's. I even forgot to take my passport with me and used my Driving License instead. Afterwards, I saw in the instruction page that I could carry alternate ID.
Anyway, follow what Sinpguy said and talk to the DMP before your appointment.
