Around Toronto, it's very casual. Infact, the receptionist was reluctant to have the FILE NO. STICKER. She said that the stickers are for my personal correspondence with CIC, IMM-1017 already has all ID's. I even forgot to take my passport with me and used my Driving License instead. Afterwards, I saw in the instruction page that I could carry alternate ID.

Anyway, follow what Sinpguy said and talk to the DMP before your appointment.

Thanks Rossei. So did you get the tracking number from them already? I mean how are going to make sure they have sent the test result to Ottawa and when?

Do you have to go for testing in fasting condition in the morning or you can take breakfast before going?

They said it will take around 10 days and they will call me if there is a concern with my report. If everything looks good, the DMP will send it to Ottawa and I can have the tracking no. by calling them. I hope they will be able to provide me something to track.

When I booked the appointment, they said I should go there normally. Like: taking breakfast and all. But I was fasting anyway. And I believe that taking blood out doesn't ruin it.

I am new to this forum. I recently got medical request from buffalo. I work in Toronto.Based on ur experience with Dr. Vicente Pinilla, would u recommend him?I have 2 other questions.

1. Did the doc ask u whether u had any kind of medical treatment/Surgery in Canada?
2. Did he specifically checked ur ears?

Since I did not call them yet; I cannot make recommendation. Hopefully, I will get the tracking no. soon and then tell you. But Dr. Vicente Pinilla was good.

He never asked me about surgery or something like it. No, he did not check my ears. I use glasses for my eyes; so he just wrote that I NEED GLASSES. He did not even weigh me or measure my height. Rather I had to tell him those. He only checked my blood pressure and asked me a series of routine questions.

You can go there and PM someone. Or, you can click on someone and there will be options for messaging him/her.

I actually called them today and they said that it has been completed but they are going to mail it tomorrow. And they will call me to let me know the TRACKING NO. As I did my medical on Aug 3; tomorrow will exactly be 10th business day.

No, they were too lazy to do it today. When I called them in the afternoon, the lady was like "O sorry, I still din't do it, I'm calling you later for this". And obviously she never called back. I will bug her tomorrow. That's why I did not want to recommend before

I don't know. But I heard from other threads that you can contact Ottawa to know when they have sent/will send your medical result to Buffalo. I'm again not sure but they may actually send the report/result to Buffalo rather uploading stuffs (which you are saying).

Yes, I finally got confirmation from his office. And they provided me a CanadaPost tracking# as well. Seems like they won't send it before 10 working days. I would recommend you to call them on 8th/9th day so that they actually send it on the 10th.
