5 weeks and still counting

UPDATE: Some progress made
My wife got today the DM. I got DM the day after the test (March 1st). My wife stayed in the background check for 4 weeks after I got mine. Of note, my wife had to provide FP two weeks before the test.

As you are aware the kids do not change status. So they will stay in progress.

Awaiting the oath invite

Congrats
I hope the agents who are responsible for security clearances start clearing this backlog soon.
Fingers crossed

Hi guys!
I wanna ask if the people who didn't get the DM status have ever moved temporarily out of the province where they live for another province inside Canada for a vacation or anything else?
And have they mentioned this vacation on the application?
Thanx

Hello guys,

I’m trying to “understand” the delay for one family member getting “DM” while the other stays “IP”.

Please have a look on your application numbers and see if the application for the spouse who got “DM” has a lower number than the one who is still “IP”.

I am trying to create a “theory” that applications, although for a couple, are processed individually, by different officers, and they follow a numeric sequence. This could the reason for one family member being processed first.

Please have a look on your applications and let us know. Thank you!
