It doesn't matter if a person is not working. As long as a person is drawing income, regardless of where it came from (Pension is income), that person can sponsor anyone provided LICO are met.chakrab said:i think the bigger issue will be the financial situation. But in OP's case, it will likely fail, not because of financial LICO requirement, but failing to meet relative qualification for sponsorship. 3rd Cousins will not likely meet CIC's definition of family relative.
