Distance learning counts for education points, but not for bonus points in your profile or application.
I found this on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp while evaluating my profile.
After going through research i came to know that WES will evaluate my diploma degree from Distance learning program and i will be able to choose option of "two or more certificates diplomas or degrees one must be for a program of three or more years" which will increase my points from 444 to 477 as per score calculator but what is meant by no bonus points in profile or application.

Secondly do any one have experience for evaluating distance diploma of less that one year from WES. In other words, will post graduation distance diplomas from Canada that have duration of 4 - 6 months enables me to choose this option "two or more certificates diplomas or degrees one must be for a program of three or more years"?

distance education from canada should be at least 8 months and 2 semesters if i am not wrong. 4 months might not count as in express entry it wont count as a 1 year education certificate.

Yes I came to know that you will get points for your distance Master or other program (if you do degree from online University in Canada) but they will not give you points for study in Canada.

What about if we have a distance bachelor's degree from India. They will give points for that as graduation or not. One thing more, if I did a 3-year diploma after 10th and then a 2-year bachelor's degree with lateral entry from distance learning. Then, how they will consider it. Is it under graduation or "two or more certificates diplomas or degrees one must be for a program of three or more years" .If anyone has any idea about this please reply. Thanks

Hey.

I have a full time graduation in Business Economics from Delhi University(3 Years- Equivalent to 4 years in Canada as per WES)

I have to boost my CRS score to 470+ for express entry. I was planning to do a MBA(executive) distance from NMIMS (Recognized in WES).

Will this be counted in my Express entry application and shall I be able to select in "Two or more degrees,certificate. one must be a program of three years"
