Disappointment and confusion

Hello Guys,

Just got IELTS results S-6.5, W-6.5,L-8,R-7 and CRS comes to 443, If I had 0.5 more in either S or in W, I would have Scored 451. What should I do now? Re-evaluation or to go for another attempt?

Practice a bit more and go for second attempt. You are very close.

However, if you are very very confident that you deserve better scores in W or S, then you can ask for revaluation.

My personal advise is to practice more for second attempt.

Guys!

Re take the IELTS again. I was at 408 earlier but I retook IELTS and I bumped up my score to 450.

Now, i have got both OINP and ITA under FSW.

Getting test dates for IELTS General training module is a pain and they get booked like hot cakes. Grab them before its gone.

Haha, I am making 3rd attempt. I am really preparing well, the test dates are almost fully booked, and then u wait for 2 weeks to get result.

But surely, try hard and u will get the mark you need.

One-Topsy, i am so impressed by your resilience. Please apply the techniques i suggested to you. It's not impossible to score an overall band 9 like me.

Put for re evaluation.... its a chance u gotta take... i was in same situtation... in re evaluation my W and S score increased...

I know I can score more, but it will take a lot of time and I dont want to waste time now, I just became eligible and I dont want to waste more time in this IELTS. Thanks for the advice though...!!!

another option is to take the CELPIP instead. Some people do better on one test than the other.
