Didn't get full points for 1 year experience

Hello all,
I have worked in Canada much more than a year now and I have also studied here for 3 years. My EE score is 437. I noticed I only got 40 points for one year work experience, but i read that without a spouse you should get 80 points? Is that true? Why didn't I get full points for my work experience?

Also, is 111 for your official language a good score or should I re-take the test to get more points? what are other ways I can increase my points?

Also, is creating a job bank profile mandatory? I have a full-time job.. so not really looking for a new one.

1. A slight chance as there are 9440 applicants (April 18th) with with 431 points or more.
