Did you send in your passport BEFORE the passport request???

We are almost about to submit our last requested document. We had an interview and know my spouse is approved (Pending police checks).
I was thinking about sending in his passport with the last documents they needed since we don't need to use his passport until we go to Canada.

Has anyone sent theirs in before it was requested?

I was wanting to make it easier on everyone and save a passport request but don't want to make them mad either lol.

I don't think it would make them mad per say, but it might make them confused since they haven't issued one and it's possible they might have a specific office/area for that. I would honestly just wait for the PPR

I would say the same... if you send your passport and it gets lost, because they hadn't issued the request etc, it will be a lot more complicated... I hope you get the PPR soon (congrats on passing the interview btw!), but I think it's wise to wait a little more... I can imagine you are busy with packing and planning etc...

I feel like this would confuse the heck out of a bureaucrat. The person who receives your docs before the visa officer sees them might say WTF if they don't know that you've been approved and send it back to you. But someone else might have done it successfully!
