Hi! Just a quick question and I do apologize if it sounds silly.

So I'm currently attempting to fill out some information on my Outland application.

For the question number 9 in "Development of your relationship" do I bother at all to type in the 5 lines provided? or can I just type out everything on a separate sheet(s) of paper? Seems silly to only type out some bits and then mention to them to continue on another sheet.

Also... For question 24 and 25 in the "maintaining contact" section... would it look suspicious that we've been living together for a year consecutively but still applying Outland? The question for 24 is "Has your sponsor visited you during the period of your relationship." He hasn't. I'm the one who always came to him. After my third visit I moved in with him. So I'm really confused as to what I should put for these questions.

We wrote up a timeline describing how our relationship developed on a separate page - there's just not enough space for it all otherwise! Then in the space provided we wrote "see attached page for details".

It's not suspicious to apply outland if you live together - many people do that because the processing times are faster. Are you two married, or common-law? I ask mainly because you mentioned living together for a year consecutively.

I'm not sure about question 24. Hopefully one of the more senior members can help you with that!

Thank you! I'll be sure to use what you quoted! I just figured it makes more sense to do it all on a separate sheet versus typing up as much as I can provided in the 5 lines and then telling them to continue onto the additional sheets.

We are common law. Have been officially since October 2014. Due to some circumstances we are only just now able to start up our application.

For my understanding it's alright to say "This question doesn't apply to us" and explain why (eg. "we live together so no need for visiting"). You can also explain (in separate sheet if necessary) that before moving in you were the one who was visiting and explain why (eg. your schedule was more flexible). The most important thing is that you have proof that you have been together long enough for your relationship to be legitimate. After that some of the questions in the forms might not apply to your case, and then you can simply explain why. Good luck!

I wrote the development of our relationship as a story in third person, picking out key events. It took up about one side of A4. We've been together for 2.5 years as common law.

Questions like visiting each other and contact I just said "the sponsor and applicant cohabit" or something along those lines.
