Designation issue.

My AOR is April 13th and I am a FSW-O applicant, still in IP1. I am concerned with designation for a previous job. I was interviewed for a Business Analyst position and during interview I was told that, in the beginning of my job I had to work majorly with testing team and at the same time assist senior Business Analysts when required.

I moved into complete Business analyst role after about two months.

Issue is that in contract letter my designation is Tester, and in reference letter my designation is Tester/Business analyst. 7 out of 9 job duties in reference letter belong to business analyst. I want to know if this difference in contract and reference letters leads to eligibility review.
I have emails with hiring manager and snapshot of application in job portal, which show that I was interviewed and selected for Business Analyst position

I'd recommend you to order GCMS notes and see if they have made any notes about your NOC or job claim in your application. If you find that you've chosen the wrong NOC or if they're questioning any documents then you can send them additional documents and an explanation that can strengthen your case.

I have ordered GCMS notes 15 days back, waiting for it. My NOC code is 2171 and this code applies to Business Analyst. My reference letter is genuine and I gave my manager a heads up.
As I wrote in my OP, I have job portal snapshot and emails with hiring manager for additional docs.
Have to wait and see, but I am worried about this issue.

You've done the right thing. I don't think there's anything to worry about. Once you get your GCMS notes you'll know if there are any issues or not and you have the chance to clarify them through the webform. So don't worry.

No normally designation is not what matters...the thing that matters the most is your duties according to the NOC selected. having said that, the designation should not be totally vague, as in making no sense at all...
