Hey @PRforbaby - Have you tried checking with your medical service provider nearby whether IME number is available in their system? Is it possible that the the communication didn't come through (for any reason) but you medical request is there in the system? Timelines of many of the cases in this forum suggest that medical request comes within a week after sponsorship eligibility.Hi everyone,
I’m just looking to understand if my timeline is within the usual range, or if something may be off with my application.
Applied: Apr 18, 2025
AOR: May 8
Sponsor Eligibility Passed: Jun 9
Since then, there haven’t been any updates—especially no medical request.
I’ve noticed some applicants who applied around late May or even June have already received their medicals, so I’m wondering:
• Has anyone else experienced a similar pause after eligibility passed?
• Could this just be VO-specific or processing batch related?
I completely understand that every case is different—just trying to get a sense of how common this is and whether I should be doing anything proactive.
Thanks in advance for any insights or shared timelines!
I have also heard (for Economy Immigration) that IRCC holds medical checkup as late as possible in complex cases where background check might take a lot of time because one of the deciding factor of COPR expiry date is Medical check-up expiry date.
