I have a question regarding COPR. For my kids, COPR document number and expiry are updated in Application status tracker, how much time IRCC is taking to issue PDF document generally?
We will have summer vacation during July ana August and want to book tickets as soon as possible.

You need to wait for Portal email & COPR
you can book travel and plan but all TRV's get null & void after - If outside country you can email back and let them know & they will hold your COPR

There is a medical backlog for PR owing to strike. You just have to wait it out

Hi I had applied for both. I had applied for visitor record in August 2022. And in November 2022 I applied for PR.

My child's visitor record was approved a few days back with a 6 month validity.
PR application status: Medical passed on Feb 17. I didn't hear anything after that.

What mixed response did you hear? Does the PR application get impacted because of visitor record?

Medical completed FEB 13. No update after that.
TRV extension approved till end of AUG. I am not sure If I have to apply for another extension.

My child passed the medical exam on 17th Feb. Not heard anything after that. I am wondering if I am checking in the incorrect portal.

Prior to the pre-arrival message, what was the pending item in your portal? Mine says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

I actually created IRCC account with GCKey as sponsor. All the updates till PR Portal email showed up on IRCC account.
Prior to pre-arrival message, the latest status was Medicals Passed. Only after eCOPR was issued, the IRCC account got updated with below messages:
1. Final decision - May 29, 2023:Your application was approved
2. May 29, 2023 Your eligibility has been reviewed.(Until May 29th, the Review of Eligibility section read
"We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.")

Hi, anybody who applied for Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) for dependants got visa approved ? we applied TRV outside Canada in Nov 2022 and it's still in progress.

Recently IRCC said it will expedite TRV application for dependants whose PR application is in progress, our application hasn't moved since 7 months.

Recently IRCC is approving TRV within 30 days but for my case it's stuck with no updates since Nov.
