Dependent child case filed on Mar 24 through online application. Still waiting for AOR. Is it normal? Nowadays, what is the typical wait time from case filing to AOR? Thank you!
Congrats!! Do you have a separate portal login for sponsor and dependant? Mine still says Medical passed on Feb 17. No other update yet

No I have the one for sponsor only..hopefully you will get some update soon..good luck
If you're abroad, you will get passport request, submit passport, get passport back with visa and copr. You don't 'get' copr separately per se.
If you're in Canada, you will get the eCOPR (electronic version) - at that point you are a PR. You don't need to go to an office. There will be instructions about submtting photos for the PR card.

Hi, I have submitted my Dependent child application on 22nd May 2022, but they mentioned the AOR on 18th Nov 2022. They have requested the medical on Feb 23, 2023 and my daughter arrived Canada on 1st Mar 2023 in visitor Visa, then done the medical in Canada and its got completed on 28 Mar 2023. After that i can see Background verification is In Progress for last 2 months, since there is no update after 28th Mar 2023. Please let me know anyone on same boat.

Application is not moving for applicants whose medical test was completed in February and later.
