Your situation is confusing, and I can see why. If I was in your shoes, I would gather all the documents they requested where you have heard contradicting information about (basically everything IRCC requested so far that you talked about) and I would put them together in one PDF, with a cover letter explaining the misunderstanding that you just pointed out. Then I would send it just like how the agents recommended, with an X in the application number.

I found out what happened. Basically we need to keep calling until we get someone that knows how to use their system.
I called 3x yesterday until I got to this agent that spent a lot of time and she was really trying to understand my case. After several minutes she found the forms that it was sent on the 19th.
She mentioned that the forms were hidden in the application and that’s why nobody could see it.
She gave me the number of the file in the system and she attached a note to it, so the other agents and officer could find what they were looking for the next time.
That’s why I was receiving the same email over and over, bc they were checking my application and the forms were “missing”.

I have received a decision made status on the website. Plz advice what is the next step and time frame.
Depends, you should receive passport request shortly. When did you apply and what VO

Hey I forgot to submit the proof of payment with my dependent application do you think they will send it back ?

Inland online Child sponsorship..
Applied by 30 Sep 2021
Received an email today (12 Jan 2022) stating AOR back on 1 Oct 2021!

Questions:
  1. How to link this application to my myGCkey account?
  2. What comes next?

Thanks

I sent in a paper application to NS on January 2, 2022, for my two adopted children back home in Jamaica. I got AOR on January 11, 2022. I will update as info comes in.

Well after months of our app being sent to every VO that was wrong, I was finally advised today that our dependents app was now being processed in the mexico VO as it should have been from the start. Medicals , SA all completed in June. Hopefully not too much longer now for a 9 year old

It looks like Mexico is kinda slow. I'm on the 5th week for my 9yo without any updates. Medical complete already. It says that they need more documents, but I sent all the documents required via webform.
For my 8yo girl I'm going to the first week after medical, her application was approved 1 month after my boy application.

I decided to apply for a visitor visa for both, so he could wait for their PR in land. Lets see.

Yes Mexico has always been slow, my husbands app in 2018 was over 16 months, Im just happy its no longer in Dakar VO. Not sure why it was even sent there to begin with. Same boat our dependent is 9 years old, medicals completed in June and silence. You said they asked for more documents? what more could they need for a child

The last time I called them, they sad that they can send to any visa office to start the first part of application. Once the sponsored person met the requirements the VO send the process to the country where they live to process and send passport.

I submitted and online application on Oct 20 for an inland dependent sponsorhsip. On Jan 24, the online portal was updated with a "returned" status and I also received an email saying the application was rejected due to:

CONSENT & DECLARATION

Consent and Declaration form must be signed by the Principal Applicant

· A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of a dependent child under the age of 18 when a signature for this person is required.

SCHEDULE A - BACKGROUND/DECLARATION (IMM 5669) FORM:

· A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of a dependent child under the age of 18 when a signature for this person is required.

My questions are:

- I'm not 100% sure what the issue was as the dependent is 1 year old and I did sign on their behalf. Can someone help me understand? Actually it seems that I wrote the dependent's name instead of mine in the Electronic Signature field. It seems that this was the error.
- Do I need a new processing fee? I have conflicting info as online portal says returned while email says rejected.
- Can I submit a paper application instead now? I feel like online applications are moving much slower. Waiting for three months for a return is brutal.
