Dependent child lock in date

My daughter was 20 years old when i applied for permanent resident under Caring for people with high medical needs class but after i submitted my application, i was told that i could not include her on my application because she does not meet the definition of dependent child. But since the age definition for dependent child changed, im planning to sponsor her under family class. Did her age get locked in when i submitted my application for PR or is it gonna get locked in when she applies under family class? i need help please

No her age is not locked in anywhere, since your own app is now completely closed out once you landed as a PR. Only once you submit her own PR app, will her age then be locked in. So you must submit it before her 22nd birthday.

You can fill the reform and you will get a response within 20 days.

CIC will give a clear direction.
