We just found out that my daughter got pregnant and is now 18weeks on the way while her PR is currently being processed. We are just waiting for PPR, do i need to inform/declare it to CIC immediately?
Thoughts please. Thanks in advance
Hi All,
We are a hairline away in getting the visa, but to avoid being charged of misrepresentations my spouse and I decided to declare to CIC the change in the circumstances of our daughter which eventually will change in our family structure.
We informed that our daughter is still single/unmarried/not in common-law and has no plans to marry. She's still attending her classes despite her condition and still lives with us under our physical, financial and emotional care. She's about to deliver in August this year.
CIC replied and requested for these documents:
-Written explanation from daughter regarding the identity, whereabouts and status of relationship (past and present) with the biological father of her child
-updated PSA CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage Record)
-updated Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) of daughter listing her newborn child (to be submitted once child is born)
-PSA birth certificate for Gerard Patrice (to be submitted once child is born)
Question: Does this means that CIC will delay our visa processing until the child is born and requirements above has been satisfied and therefore no visa will be issued while our daughter is pregnant? Will this new circumstance get our application in jeopardy? What are we to expect in telling the truth to our Visa Office/CIC?
I would very much appreciate if anyone would shed light on this, your valuable experiences will really be of help.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Two Dogs
